NISBETS
12% more footfall for new-to-TV catering company
Nisbets had built a B2B business selling catering equipment to the trade. Now they wanted to reach home cooks directly. So we created their first-ever Sky AdSmart campaign – #BeMoreChef – filmed on location and targeted by postcode. The result: a 12% increase in footfall to stores.
The Problem
Nisbets was a B2B brand. For years, it sold professional catering equipment to the trade. But home cooking was booming, and there was a clear opportunity to sell directly to consumers.
The problem was reach. How do you get in front of home cooks efficiently? And how do you prove the spend actually drove people through the door?
The Work: YouTube ad production
We created #BeMoreChef, a campaign built around one simple, likeable idea. It compared a home chef with a professional chef, and invited everyone to cook a little more like the pros. We wrote the concept and the hashtag, then filmed the ads on location. And we ran it as Nisbets’ first Sky AdSmart campaign, so the media could be targeted as tightly as the creative.
The Approach
One idea, instantly gettable. #BeMoreChef gave a B2B brand a warm, consumer-friendly personality overnight. Home chef versus pro chef is a hook anyone understands.
Targeted by postcode. Because it ran on Sky AdSmart, we could aim the campaign at the postcodes around Nisbets’ stores. So the budget reached the people most likely to actually visit.
Made for the real world. We filmed on location to keep it credible and human. It looked like real cooking, not a catalogue.
A new audience needs a new story, not just a new media plan. #BeMoreChef gave home cooks a reason to care. And AdSmart made sure the right postcodes saw it. Together, that turned a B2B brand into one people walked into a store to buy from.
