HISTORIC ENGLAND
Putting two new co-CEOs on the LinkedIn map
Historic England has two new co-CEOs. Together, they travel the country championing England’s historic places. We’re helping them build a visible, credible presence on LinkedIn – an ongoing LinkedIn video production of five films, shot across England over five months, that bring their roles and their mission to life.
The Problem
Historic England’s co-CEOs needed to introduce themselves – not with a press release, but with a genuine presence people would actually follow.
LinkedIn was the place to do it. But executive video on LinkedIn is easy to get wrong. It can feel stiff, corporate or self-promotional. So the task was to make two CEOs feel human, visible and worth listening to, all while they travel a packed schedule across the country.
What we made
We’re creating a series of five films, shot around England over a five-month period. Each one follows the co-CEOs on the road. And each turns their roles, their visibility and their mission into content built for the feed. We concept the LinkedIn video production for the platform first, then their team capture it on location as they travel.
The Work
Concepts made for LinkedIn. We work closely with their team to shape social-media concepts that suit the platform and the audience. So every film has a clear reason to exist, not just a camera pointed at a CEO.
Best practice, built in. Filming busy leaders on the move is its own skill. So we set the best practices for capturing interviews and b-roll efficiently, getting everything we need without slowing them down.
A true collaboration. We work with the co-CEOs’ team directly, across a long schedule, to keep the series consistent and authentic. Because it runs over five months, the story can build film by film.
